No matter how popular “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is, Mariah Carey’s twins are apparently sick of hearing the song over and over. We guess all they want for Christmas is a different tune from their mom. The good news is that the singer can take a joke and laugh about the situation.
Mariah Carey’s Twins Are Tired of the Track
Mariah Carey shares twins Monroe and Moroccan with her ex-husband Nick Cannon. On Christmas Eve, the singer posted a set of posts on Instagram, celebrating with her children.
One video included the kids asking if they have to be with her every single time she sings “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Mariah explains that it’s all just being festive and starts singing. The twins then immediately leave before having to hear the track one more time. Who can blame them? The public is torn between loving the iconic song and being sick of it, too!
The Family’s Christmas Celebration
The clip looks scripted, and you could see it was just a joke, but Mariah Carey deserves props for her sense of humor. The post was captioned with “Had to do it.” The icon also posted other photos of their family Christmas celebration. In one of them, her and the kids are on a sleigh. Moroccan is dressed in all black and Monroe matches Mariah’s pink coat, smiling behind her mom.
Right before Christmas, Mariah Carey got to bring her children to the White House where they met some U.S. leaders and took photos. She shared how grateful and happy she was for having the opportunity to visit and spend some festive time with her kids there. The twins were also captured holding hands while speaking with some figures. What a great Christmas celebration the family had!
S Club 7 Fans Were Angry After a Single Member Showed Up to a Concert
By Simon Saunders –
After S Club 7 announced their nationwide tour, fans couldn’t wait to reunite with the members of the group. However, when a single member turned up to a sold-out concert that was anticipated by many and for quite a while, fans were left angry and disappointed.
S Club 7 Failed to Reunite
Former Spice Girls manager, Simon Fuller, also founded the iconic British pop group S Club 7 in 1998. The band achieved great success in the late 1990s and early 2000s, becoming one of the UK’s biggest pop groups with chart-topping hits like “S Club Party”, “Don’t Stop Movin”, and “Bring it All Back”. After a hiatus of eight years, fans were thrilled to learn that S Club 7 would reunite for their 25th-anniversary tour in the UK and Ireland. All seven original members of S Club 7, including Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Tina Barrett, Paul Cattermole, Jo O’Meara, Rachel Stevens, and Hannah Spearritt, initially agreed to the reunion tour.
However, recently fans were left with great disappointment when only one member appeared at a recent small gig in the Isle of Wight, causing a frenzy among them. Initially, two of the S Club 7 members, Tina Barrett and Bradley McIntosh, confirmed their performance at a 150-capacity venue in Newport and for a reasonably priced ticket as part of the ‘Flashback Fridays’ event, which quickly sold out in a matter of seconds.
S Club 7 Plan a Reunion Tour
Many fans were eagerly anticipating a nostalgic performance from S Club 7 but were disappointed when Tina did not show up, leaving Bradley to perform alone. This news caused an uproar on Twitter, with one fan expressing their outrage by saying that the night was a huge disappointment and that they felt sorry for Bradley. Another fan tweeted their anger, stating that they paid good money to see two members of S Club 7 and got just one. A third fan was also disappointed and called the whole situation a letdown.
According to a spokesperson from the venue hosting the show, the absence of Tina and contractual obligations prevented S Club 7 from performing at the show for which tickets had been sold. In light of the inconvenience caused to disappointed fans, the venue has offered a 50% refund to affected customers. Despite this setback, fans can still anticipate the official reunion tour beginning in October.
